Gathering Place

The roots of Executive MBA Conference can be traced to 1981. That year, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB International) organized the first Executive MBA Workshop in Houston, Texas.

In the early years, the conference took place every other year, but by 1985, demand grew large enough to support an annual conference. The 2007 conference in Toronto set a record for attendance, with more than 400 participants. A list of past conference themes and locations follows.
