2010 Regional Meetings

Schools throughout the world host Executive MBA Council regional meetings. The following meetings are scheduled for 2010.

USA/Southwest Regional Meeting
Date: June 14-15
Location: Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas
Host: Southern Methodist University
Meeting Details: Begins 6:30 PM, Monday, June 14, with a welcome dinner, continues with an all-day session Tuesday, including breakfast and lunch
Agenda: Tuesday, June 14 begins with a continental breakfast from 8 to 9 AM; EMBA Council updates start at 9 AM, followed by a regional roundtable, lunch and a tour of Meadows Museum, and sessions on stress reduction, luxury item sales, a faculty panel on challenges of teaching EMBAs, and a corporate panel on the relevancy of the EMBA curriculum for today's business environment

USA/Canada Midwest Regional Meeting
Date: July 13-14
Location: University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota
Host: University of Minnesota
Meeting Details: The meeting begins at 6 PM Tuesday, July 13, with a tour of Carlson School facilities, following by reception at the new University of Minnesota Football Stadium from 7 to 9 PM
Agenda: Wednesday, July 14, begins with a breakfast from 7:30 to 8:30 AM at the Carlson School Private Dining Room, followed by a welcome at 8:45 AM, a session, “Going Global: The Carlson School Journey,” a breakout session, lunch, breakout reports, and EMBA Council updates – the meeting ends at 3 PM
