Many Benefits
Learn more about the effectiveness of your admissions criteria by participating in a new opportunity: The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) Validity Study Service (VSS).
A new collaboration between the Executive MBA Council and the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), the VSS Executive MBA study will provide data about program selection practices, offering insights into what works.
By participating in this confidential free study, you will receive a detailed, individualized report tailored to your program within a few weeks after submitting your data. Visit www.gmac.com/vss to see a sample report. You also are supporting research that helps advance and improve admission processes and bolster the value of the Executive MBA degree.
You can participate if you can provide GMAT exam scores and graduate GPA information for at least 50 percent of your students. It’s easy to participate:
- E-mail vss@gmac.com to confirm your interest in participating
- Download the following Excel spreadsheet template for collecting student-level success data
» GMAC Validity Study Spreadsheet (Excel)
- Record your data in the spreadsheet based on the following guidelines:
- Provide data for at least 50 students in an entire class or set of cohorts with a minimum of 10 students in each group category, such as gender, for the grouping variables. If necessary, combine data from several years to meet this requirement.
- Leave blank the fields where you do not have data for all of the variables.
- Add your own optional variables, such as ethnicity, work experience, or grade point average in core courses, depending on your program’s needs, in the additional columns.
- E-mail the completed spreadsheet as an attachment to GMAC at vss@gmac.com as soon as possible and before June 30, 2006.
GMAC and the Executive MBA Council will present study results during the 2006 Executive MBA Council Conference in Baltimore, Oct. 22-24.
