Participate
The web-based survey is easy for students to complete and programs to use.
First you must register your program or programs through the “Agreement to Participate,” which you can find on your portal at http://emba.perceptresearch.com
After you register, you will receive an e-mail with instructions about submitting student e-mail addresses.
You will choose the dates of the survey invitation and reminder e-mails, as well as the end of the survey fielding for each of your programs. Return all surveys before the deadline of Oct. 31, 2008.
Percept Research will send your students e-mail invitations to participate based on the invitation date that you select during registration.
These e-mails include a hyperlink to the survey, with a unique tracking number to ensure one survey response per student. Percept Research will send reminder e-mails to students who have not responded by the date that you choose. Percept Research recommends that programs set the reminder a week after the initial invitation because web surveys tend to field quickly.
Percept Research closes the fielding of the online survey based on the date you select, usually two to three weeks after the invitation. At the end of the survey, you will receive a list of students who have not completed the survey in case you want to follow up directly for a census. Choosing a survey end date a few weeks before Oct. 31 gives you time for follow up.
You will receive your reports in December. To meet the December reporting time frame, Percept Research will not accept any student surveys after the deadline of Oct. 31, 2008. Registration for the 2008-2009 Student Exit Benchmarking Survey begins after Nov. 1, 2008.
Based on the reporting option you select, Percept Research will send your school an invoice and must receive full payment before sending survey results.
