Participation

It’s easy for Executive MBA Council members to participate in the Student Exit Benchmarking Survey.

First you must register your program or programs through the “Agreement to Participate,” which you can find at http://www.embac.org/studentexitregister.

Then choose your preferred method to administer the survey: web or print. Here’s what will happen, depending on your choice.

Web surveys

  • You will receive an e-mail with instructions about submitting student e-mail addresses.

  • You will choose the dates of the survey invitation and reminder e-mails, as well as the end of the survey fielding for each of your programs. Remember all surveys must be completed by June 30.

  • We encourage you to send a pre-alert announcement to your students to expect the survey in their inboxes. We will provide a pre-alert text template for your use.

  • Percept Research will send reminder e-mails to students who have not responded one week after sending the invitation e-mail, or as you instruct. Reminder e-mails include a link to the survey and a unique tracking number to ensure one survey response per student. Only students who have not responded receive e-mail reminders.

  • Percept Research closes the fielding of the online survey based on the date you select, usually two to three weeks after the invitation, but all surveys must be received after June 30.

  • You will receive a list of all non-respondents one day after the survey end date that you selected. This list will include the unique survey links for each non-respondent so you can follow-up directly with these students to achieve a census.

  • Percept Research will send you a topline summary of your results within two weeks after you have officially ended the fielding of your survey.

Print surveys

  • You can download a copy of the questionnaire from your portal. If you choose a custom package, Percept Research will format your new questions to match the design of the print questionnaire.

  • Write the name of your school and program if you have more than one on the first page of the master copy before making enough copies for your students.

  • Administer the survey to your students in the class during the last few weeks of your program to facilitate the highest level of participation; if not possible, mail the survey to your graduates, along with a prepaid reply envelope, instruction memo, and deadline.

  • Collect all of the completed surveys and mail them in a single package as soon as possible and no later than June 30 to:
